About us
Gary United Methodist Preschool is a small Christian preschool in Wheaton, IL. We are hiring for the September 2024-May 2025 school year.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Preschool Director to lead our team in delivering high-quality early childhood education programs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering children's growth and development, dedicated to creating a supportive community for families, and adept at managing day-to-day operations. We are also looking for someone who is excited to evaluate our offerings to better provide for the community's needs.
Hours would be 8:30 am-12:30 pm Monday - Friday. Classes run September - May with fewer hours in the summer. We are also hiring for several preschool teaching positions. The Director should have professional experience in an early childhood setting with preschoolers or elementary school, as well as a degree in a related field. An Associate's (or higher) degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
Candidates must meet DCFS requirements. Further requirements are listed in Section 407.130 of DCFS regulations.
